I collaborated with the team at ShadeHouse to develop a complete brand identity, including logo design, visual identity, and a fully custom product line crafted to reflect their unique position in the market. Our goal was to establish a credible, premium brand presence through strategic design choices that would help shoppers identify their ideal tinted-moisturizer shade quickly, even from a distance.

During my initial research into tinted moisturizers and competing brands, I discovered that many products felt relatively budget when handled, and most offered only small, easily overlooked indicators of the shade inside. This insight guided the direction of ShadeHouse’s packaging system.

I designed the exterior packaging to be cost-effective yet undeniably premium, with multiple clear visual indicators that communicate shade long before a customer opens the box. Inside, users are met with a high-end aluminum tube whose base color corresponds directly to the skin tone of the product, elevating both the unboxing experience and everyday ease of use. The result is packaging that feels luxurious, intuitive, and meaningfully differentiated from ShadeHouse’s competitors.
